About Course
For students studying under the Pre-University (PU) Commerce stream in Karnataka, the curriculum is set by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka. The PU Commerce curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in commerce, business, and economics, preparing them for higher education and future career opportunities. Duration : 2 Years
ELIGIBILITY : 10TH Standard Pass
COMMERCE Combinations :
a) History/ Economics/Business Studies/ Accountancy
b) C.Sc/Economics/Business Studies/Accountancy
Affiliated to Pre-University Board, Government of Karnataka.
Note: The elective subjects may vary based on the availability and discretion of the PU Board.
Assessment and Examinations:
Students in the PU Commerce stream are assessed through regular tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations conducted throughout the academic year. At the end of each year (I PUC and II PUC), students appear for the Pre-University examinations conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka.
Additional Activities:
Apart from academic studies, PU Commerce students may also engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as debates, quizzes, seminars, workshops, and cultural events to enhance their overall development and skills.
